hi my art teacher just set me a homewrok with the title ’shavings’ and i’ve got no idea what to do… any ideas? (i don’t want to do anything to obvious like pencil shavings!)

try and do alot of different things of what you may think shavings are and all different oppions and do a colleage of pictures and textures.

Maybe something to do with shaving your face, or legs or the dog…

Or maybe one of those things you use to slice cheese, where it curls it’s like a knife.

Soap will produce shavings, wax likely too…wood, you could shave different colors of crayons and make different levels of color in a mason jar or something. Add a wick and you’ve got yourself a candle if you pack it tight enough.
