im a christian too, and i believe that life is a test
depending on how we live will determind what happens in the next life
God is able to help us through the challenges, but only if we ask for help and are willing to accept it.

Couldn’t have ssaid it better, sometimes I just exist and feel far from God at other times I’m on fire and His Word just just off the pages. In these times we need trust in Him an know that He walked on this earth too and felt what we feel so he understands what we are going through.

I also agree with the other two, but it seems to me you need to remember that part of the reason Jesus came to earth as a man was so that he could suffer as we suffer annd therefore understand what you are going through. God does know what it feels like. Go to him with your problems and he will help. I know it’s tough but it does work.

It’s not meant to be easy, if it was you would never learn anything .
I know it sounds cliché but I’ve been through a very difficult year and wouldn’t change any of it, because I’ve learnt so much.
If you ask me it’s easier for people with faith , count yourself lucky.

It is easier for people with faith.

You ask “did god make it to where everyone has their trials and demons?”

The bible talks about 1) god and Jesus being one, 2) and Jesus being a man, 3) Jesus having doubts and being tested and betrayed etc. If that makes sense to you then it seems god would have an understanding about facing trials.

I personally believe that “God” is a beautiful ideal that lives in all of us and the only way he can manifest in this would is through our actions. I believe in and have experienced what most Christians would call god, demons, speaking in tongues, etc. My entire family/school/community were fundamentalist Christians my entire childhood, but I am atheist Buddhist and I had to come to some level of commonality to remain lovingly connected with them.

Good luck in your journey.

I agree with all but the last. God is much more than an ideal. He has simply chosen to show Himself to people through those who have given themselves to Him. What a privilege!

Hello, I appologize for getting to this post so late… God’s eyes are upon everyone. He is all knowing and all seeing. We go through our trials and strife because of the choices that we make or the choices others make and some how we are involved or affected.

Jesus tells us that His grace is sufficient for us. And Paul tells us that perseverance through trouble creates character, and that creates faith, and faith hope. ( I hope I didn’t get this backwards???) God also tells us that we should count it a good thing when we are tested - for those who love God and follow His ways because we can be sure of this that He, our Father in heaven has good reason, but considers us His own. We are called His daughters and sons, and when we look to the cross of Christ, His grace can and will get us through anything.

You have a comforter with you called the Holy Spirit. And He can do nothing outside the will of God.

There is something much bigger going on than what we realize or understand. We have our free will to battle against, but also the things unseen… there is a war that rages on, and it’s between God and the angels that He created but who have turned Him. They work secretly at times to influence God’s children in ways they should not or otherwise would dare not go. We have alot of strikes against us and being a Christian is hard, but hold stead fast, find some like minded individuals, and always seek God for answers to your questions in your prayers. God is with you, and eventhough you are enduring somethings right now you do not want to, this is a time of healing for you, a time of growth, and if you ever need to chat, just give me a shout. Have a good day! Keep smiling!
Your friend,Shannon

Does your religion offer the comfort and power of the Holy Spirit?

That does not answer my question.
