I try playing online with my ps3 but it still says unable to connect.

I recently called verizon to see if they could help but they said that my ports were open already.

Im confused.

Do you have a firewall or does your anti virus software block any ports?

I have to disable my anti-virus while I play MMORPGs or some online games.

If you type your IP address into the address bar in your browser, you’ll get to your router config. Now you’ll need to go to “advance settings”, it may be called something different, routers vary. It has a username and password but unless you have changed it, it’s usually “Admin” for both. In there somewhere, depending on your router, will be the port settings, and you’ll have to manually unblock them if they are blocked.

That’s the only other thing I can think of really :S
