Whats the deal with guys wearing their jeans really low?

I know you know what I’m talking about, you know how you see those guys and their jeans are like hanging off them and their undies/boxers r showing.

Whats up with that?!

I’m guessing its a fashion statement? but personally, I dont like it but each to their own i guess. Just wanted to know.

I personally hate it so much.

It might just be a half truth but I heard it started in America with gangs and ex-cons. When you went to prison they’d take your belt away, people wore trousers without belts to show they had done time and were therefore ‘hard’. As with most counterculture things though it got siezed upon by the fashion industry, distorted, mass-produced, shrink-wrapped, over-priced, glamorised & sold to sheeple at twice the price it should be.
Just shows, people will pay anything & do anything just to follow the flock.
