pick up a downer

been on a downer lately feeling a little sad for myself (yes u can play me the worlds tiniest violin and cry me a river i dont want pity) just been bit stressed and depressed. drugs and alcohol yea been there done that but it solves nothing. got so much on my mind and dont know where to start. lost interest in everything and just cant be bothered.
i know im not the only 1 who feels like this at times.would just like a few helpful and thoughtful words, words of wisdom just a bit of faith not just for me but for others out there who mite be feeling the same.

find something you enjoy doing and concentrate on it,
make a project out of it, put time time and effort into it
set yourself a goal for it
stand back and be proud when its done

know that as long as you are willing to help yourself, there is help!
we all need to go through somethings in order to grow, maybe this is your thing… don’t feel ashamed! there’s no need to. love yourself, because you are worth it! think about good times… think about the things you like… think about the things you’ve done that you are proud of. even if its as small as holding a kid and making it stop crying… anything, whatever…
and don’t put aside the problems you have, deal with them! you are able to, and believe it or not you know how to! don’t let deep pain and past hurt get in the way of making today a better day… fight for yourself! there is someone out there that understands and respects you, dont let guilt and bad memories in the way of living the day the way you deserve to… happily!

sorry if im not helpful… but atleast i put my time and energy and i tried
you should just try too!
i hope you feel better… =)

We all get that way sometimes. Here’s are some suggestions I recently gave to another poster (and to myself) for getting out of a rut. I’ve worked through about a fifth of them this week.

During my most difficult trials, it helps me to look away from myself and to do something nice for others. This brings my trials into perspective and reminds me that I am not alone in this experience. Life is suppose to be difficult. If everything was easy, we would never have an opportunity to grow.
