Love help: Silent pain. - Help.com

Silent pain.

The burn twists my heart.
It screams in my ears.
I grit my teeth,
and squeeze my eyes shut.
Tight.
I clench my fists and drop my head,
my neck cranes as the lightning shoots through me.
I need an escape from all this…

My friends,
once friends,
once family,
those people.
Are so dear to me,
but I don’t like them anymore.
I love them,
but I don’t like them.
My head spins in circles,
as my mind is smashed beneath my skull.
I can’t inhale,
the burn freezes my insides.

Alone in this silent room,
a rock in my hand,
dropped to the ground.
The sound echoes,
and echoes,
and echoes.
The sound reverberates and hits me again.
Nothing to stop the sound,
it just keeps moving,
and never fades.
moves around me as if I wasn’t there.
Because I’m not.

So I walk down the tunnel.
Pacing forever.
Strolling down my life.
Such a big word,
…life…
So much in it,
And it never ends,
just like the dark abyss,
of the universe.
Too much for me too handle,
because there is too much out there,
for me to matter.
I am not even a blip in space.
The earth is hardly a spec when you look closely.

Now,
in conclusion of my silly words,
with nothing here,
and nothing there.
The echoes keep coming.
And I’m alone in the middle of nowhere.
But I stand here,
And wish that I was with somebody I loved.
Wishing that I had a friend.
Someone to be there for me.
Someone that I can be there for in return.
A person that is there because they want to be.
A person who wouldn’t prefer to be anywhere else,
even though we’re in a bad place.
They are just happy to be nowhere,
with me,
Just as I am happy to be nowhere,
with them.
