Find help: I am trying to install the SIMS 2 (I have double deluxe) on my PC. - Help.com

I just got Sims 2 Double Deluxe with Apartment Life on it, it wants disk 1 it dosent have a disk 1 and it dosent say the disk 1 disk 2 in the middle whats rong with it?i need the night life part. i cant download it and i cant get a refund>. do i have to delete the momery im confused plz help!?!?!??! email me at i> small>(email removed) /small> /i> (i wont cheak this ill probly forget=P)

I am having the same problem as bean.whipped.potato.
I put in the disc and nothing happens. I returned the game and got a brand new one and same thing…nothing. My d drive is working because i put a music cd in and it worked fine…. Please Help!!! I’ve been at this for 3 days straight.

im also having problems the game starts to install and then it says it cant copy a sims3D package 08 someone please help i just got a new laptop and i have no clue whats wrong email me at i> small>(email removed) /small> /i>

The EXACT same thing happened to me except it was University, I got it replaced too and …nothing. Maybe try the setup.exe file in the correct file for Sims 2.

I just bought Sims 2 double deluxe.I tried to install it but it says “Insert disc 1″.What disk 1???I have only 2 discs.The game disc and the bonus disc(the bonus disc is a film about sims 2).What can I do?Oh,by the way,the sims 2 double deluxe has sims 2 celebration and sims 2 nightlife.I don’t have sims 2 nightlife,that’s why I bought Sims 2 double deluxe.Please,somebody help me =’(

it maybe that you got a pc - cd one amd you have a dvd drive so you need llike a usb and find a computer that will let you run it then just copy it over and then just install it on yours

my problem is is that once i click CD ROM twice,nothing shows up

I bought Sims 2 Apartment life expansion pack and i cant install it.Installation start and when it finish it say `Insert The Sims Apartment Life DVD Disk 1`,and I don`t now what to do.

I have the same problem.. when I put sims 2 in double deluxe.. nothing happens.. I go to me D: drive, and it says insert a disc.. it’s already in!! aslkdjfalskdjf

Haii, I have a similar problem I out in my Double Deluxe disc, and nothing happens so I go into run and type in D:\Autorun and it says insert a disc into D: and the disc is already in. And my head might explode if I can’t fix this.

Same thing is happening to me expect i already have the sims 2 and the sims 2 season loaded on and great it works fine
but my double deluxe which contains nightlife and celebration stuff
it said “insert disc 1″
i only have one disk.
if i fix it i will let ya’ll know

well on mine there are no scratches or nothing like that, It is when I put my laptop on Standby it goes all weird,it keeps saying:Please insert the original The sims2 Double Deluxe CD/DVD, But I Have put the original one in!!!!

I have exactly the same disc as you and computer, but it worked on mine!

This what I did:
1. I opened up the START menu and selected My Computer.
2. Then I inserted the disc.
3. Then, the Sims 2 logo popped up where the DVD Disc icon was.
4. Then, I started!
