school help: why isnt there any gas? - Help.com

why isnt there any gas?

i have been watching the news but they havent said anything about gas!!

allllll the gas station in my area (northern alabama) are completely out of gas!!! if i cant get gas soon i wont be able to go to school by friday.

anyway, why is there a gas shortage? and when will something positive happen??

About 25% of USA’s oil has been cut off because of hurricanes…and the prices are rising…

Luckily for me, I’m in Argentina, and the price of a gallon is around 0,85 U$S

oh im sorry, i know that its because of the hurricane.

but what happened? did the hurricane actually damage a refinery? or is everything to flooded to work or what?

the hurricanes. A lot of rigs had to shut down during the storm, so it’ll take awhile to get some oil. Yeah, we are a needy country.
