You can try it out, but this is a very difficult thing to make work. Are you old enough that you could arrange visits with each other, or are you living with your parents? That definitely makes a difference. You can use texting and phone calls to keep contact in between visits, but that will only work for so long.

Distance does for affection and love what it does for beauty: eventually it makes it fade!

Thanks for your quick replys,im 22 and she is 21 and i drive so can arrange visits etc, She has her own place & i have unfotunately had to move back home with the parents due to loosing my job. Im hopefully going up to see her in person in a month or so, the thing is do i go for it or leave it?

I would say to discuss it with her, and if you both agree it’s worth a try, to go for it. You’re at a point in your lives where a distance of 300 miles today could end with one of you moving to take another job in 6 months - you just never know! So yeah, if the connection is there and you both understand the work involved in keeping that connection with the distance, then see how it goes. Communication will be very important though in establishing what the parameters are in the relationship. And beware the green monster named Jealousy, aka Mistrust.

I say if you both like each other and are willing to do it try it.
I tried it before and we dated 8 months and fell in love. and they live across the country.
Just be sure that you both are truly willing to do it and that you both will be faithful.
