Bookkeeping & Financial Planners/Planning (Software) :: Are the Easiest Applications = Best Applications?

Which software do you like the best? How important is online support / help? Do you need it 24/7? What are you willing to pay for, and what would you not pay one cent for?

Should it have the best/most features, or should it be the easiest to use — or even simply be the most widely used?

Financial software: What’s most important?

You must be logged in to vote:
  1. most features
  2. easy to use
  3. widely used
  4. cost
  5. other

ps: the reason why I ask this now, is because I created a website with listings for certified Quickbooks consultants ( http://az.accounting.firm.in/Arizona ) and I was wondering if other software might be just as good (or even better) for similar (or other) purposes — thanks for giving some feedback! That page looks like neku sites. He has a bunch of pay per click sites, are the sites your making similar to those? Not sure if I spelled his name correctly (neku).

I have nothing against them, but sometimes there not what they seem. I have found a lot of spy ware and tracking programs that come form these kind of sites. I’m not saying that these sites are the only places that you find these kinds of bugs, it just seems more prevalent from these kind of sites.

Um. I just saw your page, and don’t much care for it. The layout is hard to follow and doesn’t lead the reader. The information needs to be categorized better to clarify your points.

Visually, spacing is too close, the starkness reminds me of a website from the 90’s.

I started to reformat it but realized that it’d be a long conversation before I could comfortably do that. What’s this for?

Not really. :)

I would say, first figure out your target audience, and your client.

Are they a CPA, a firm or a bookkeeper (maybe with certification, maybe just a lot of experience)

If specifically you’re focused on Certified Quickbooks operators then don’t list all the other programs your client can perform, or put them under seperate sub-pages or tables.

Less in each category, but more categories, is better than more under each field that isn’t exactly related.
