The side length of the largest square is 24cm. What is the area of the painting?

It’s impossible to tell, unless the painting is also square? But either way, there is not enough information given to solve the problem.

i’d guess 576 square cm. (which is 24 x 24). since its a square, you know that all sides are even, thus you can multiply the length and width to get the area. i believe the “3 concentric squares” information is not needed, because concentric means one inside of the other, and since they don’t tell you that these squares are seperate, and don’t give you any other measurements for them, then just use the biggest square as the whole painting area.
