anyone know of a good sleeping bag brand, warm and compact?

? mostly compact.. need for backpacking trip

not sure of any brands where youre at-but there are different types of bag.
there are synthetic, which are made of synthetic materials, can be very lightweight and compact and are fine to get wet, they will still keep you warm.
then theres down sleeping bags, filled with goose or duckdown. sooooooOOOooOOooOO nice and warm! however if you get them wet they will lose all their warmth and can be ruined.

down sleeping bags are great in winter, at high altitudes or somewhere its likely your bag wont get wet.

synthetics now are pretty much, or can be just as warm as down. and the advantage is they keep you warm when wet.
