I think everyone feels like this once in their life, if not more.
I thought I’d share my thoughts with you good people at help.com. This is my true dream, if I could have anything, this would be it. All explained in the letter to my love…
Hello Darling,
My day has been terrible, worse than most lately. I just want to throw on my boots and jeans and drive to Old Mulberry Road where we finally found each other. I want to live that way, just you and me. No work, no bills; let’s just lay in bed until noon, make love, take a nap, and go again. The stresses of life have made us resentful towards each other at times so let’s get rid of it. We’ll leave everything behind and find a mountain somewhere in the Rockies or we could go to Olympic Park and live in a cave by the ocean. I just want to be where you are, no ne else. Come home from work early, we’ll pack the Jeep with your guitars and my canvases. We’ll make love, art, and music. There’s a couple of bucks in my pocket that’s itching to turn into a little gas and a lifetime with you. We’ll drive until the tank is empty, wherever we land is where we’ll lay. You’ll miss your cell phone and Taco Bell and Starbucks and Hastings and the Beatles but I’ll talk to you and make you a quesadilla and fix your coffee and read you a book and sing to you “Hey Jude”. I want to be where no one knows our names. How about that cottage in Louisianna where the birds whistle and the trumpets play? How about that cabin in the mountains near the river where the white water flows? How about the prairie in Montana where the Blackfeet smoked and ate the buffalo? Wherever you want to be, is where I want to be.
Yours forever,
Danielle
