Extreme Craft
Garth Johnson is a sculptor and a tireless hunter of the internet. His blog, Extreme Craft, documents amazing projects at the fringes of the creative universe, and it never fails to inspire me.
For example, on the day I posted this entry, Extreme Craft was featuring a 6-foot globe made entirely of latch-hooked yarn, and a model of the Empire State Building built from toothpicks. Dip into the archives, and you’ll find the lava cake that actually issues smoke and erupts.
Crafting this extreme reminds us all to never quit pushing against the boundaries of our creativity. Garth deserves extreme props.
