life help: Hot boy broke my 52 day sobriety. - Help.com

Hot boy broke my 52 day sobriety.

Gulp. I was doing really well, I wasn’t smoking, drinking, doing any drugs AT ALL… I was even eating better! And then this very VERY attractive male comes over one night while I’m house-sitting to watch some TV and keep me from getting murdered by a serial killer. And he brings a bottle of wine. How could I say no??

Anyway, I’m wondering if you all think it’s ok for me to have a couple glasses of wine or one beer every now and again. I’m struggling with this cold-turkey thing. While its improved my health immensely, it has really limited my social-life.

It IS a matter of self-control.
As long as you don’t get DRUNK*, yes, its fine.

*You don’t remember what happened.

You have a choice my choice is I don’t use no matter what because when I do its one is two many and a thousand never enough as I end up sick all over my self as you and I know thats not the way to live It’s alright that you relapse its not alright to be hanging out with old places and play grounds and play things addition is a disease as you can die from it as I would rather die with the disease addition than die from it so stay clean no matter what what ever it takes I don’t care if you *** falls off please don’t use I know what you are feeling as it will pass you have to remember we only have a daily reprieve from the disease just for today don’t get high alcohol is a drug too!
