Teddy bears and Stolen treasures collect
one by one, in the corner
An honor,
though one of the lowest kind
Acting as a conscience and guide
gets one thrown to the side
Little voices, maybe not
the same for me and you
deliberately hidden
Obviously So,
known to always be there,
yet not enough substance for a stare
Parts of me, from a past not so cluttered
Parts of you, those little tidbits gone unmuttered.
Thoughts forgotten in a rush.
like the manners of a little grown-up
Words as a warning,
footnotes for the inexperienced
A shadow of a bruise, on someone wiser and not so new
The interval of information
used is always sensational news
