Money help: I spoke with Direct TV today. - Help.com

I spoke with Direct TV today.

It was an annoying conversation.
I’ll cut to the chase.
Seven months ago I cancelled the satellite/cable service that I had with them
because, after two months of weekly technician visits, it still did not work properly.
(They even lit my utility room on fire when they overloaded the electrical.)
When I returned home last week, I found that I was still being billed for the service.
Today, customer service returned my call.
I told them I had the cancelled contract in my hand.
They said ok and that they would no longer bill me.
I hung up thinking they were jerks.
Every half hour for the next 7 hours my phone rang.
Direct TV wanted to know why I cancelled my service, if they could sell me another package
if I would take the time to rate their customer service department.
14 calls asking the very same questions.
Needless to say, I now think they are ridiculously stupid and have refused their charge to my credit card for the last 7 months.
If they had just left me alone I would have paid it.
Because they annoyed me all day, I am going to take my money back.
Stupid heads :P
