I am a mother of four young children the oldest is 10.

On October 1 2008, we will be evicted from our home in Silver Spring Maryland. I have to come up with $9, 000.00 in order to stay there. I was rent with the option to purchase but the mortgage company was a fraud. I am out of $17,600.00 which they refuse to give me back. While I am fight this legally, I still have to complete the transaction to purchase the home. The owner is willing to work with me but it hard for me to come up with that money on such short notice.

I would appreciate any help or information in this matter.

I think the only way out for you is to talk this out again with your landlord. the problem needs to be worked out in a manner that leaves you with enough to live on and to make a monthly payment.
I have no advice as such on where or how you can raise such a large some of money in such a short space of time.

This is a sort of confusing post.

Why are you bing evicted? Are you on a lease? With an option to own–or a portion of your rent goes towards the value of the loan? I don’t understand how it is that you need to pay $9k to stay?

Get a part time job. You can apply for freelance writing, bookkeeping, software, transcription, online tuition or customer service work at home jobs. These companies do not require any fee and pay well . List of companies(with websites) offering genuine work at home jobs is available at http://www.pcworkathome.net . Many of these companies have been in business for several years

You can go to the local Goodwill center, they will help you find a job and/or train you. You can also try your luck at online charities like Modest Needs, people may send donations, if your requirement is genuine. From http://www.laodn.org/
