Potential juror must show must show cause for not attending jury duty.
we have flipped things around shouldn’t state show cause why we must attend jury
duty. But this form of government control is good for placing big fines on the
people who don’t attend jury duty-a good money maker for state for imposing their will over the people.

The 13th amendment technically makes it illegal:

“Section 1. Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as a punishment for crime where of the party shall have been duly convicted, shall exist within the United States, or any place subject to their jurisdiction. “

But we don’t listen to the constitution anyways, so it’s okay.
