My boyfriend, my housemate and 2 of our friends are asleep and all snoring really really REALLY loudly…

help!!! I need sleep, and I am so close to putting a cushion over their heads and stopping the noise! This place sounds louder than Waterloo station!

lol I’m outta nasal strips, and I lack a fog horn, I was contemplating plugging a guitar into an amp and just blasting some noise for a few minutes.. but then I’d be dead instead of asleep :/

hahaha, i just wandered into the kitchen to get some water, and made sure i slammed the doors… they are all out for the count, even a fog horn couldn’t wake this lot!

I’m seriously contemplating sleeping in my car, it’ll be cold, but at least it will be quiet :P

Just talk to each one and ask them to roll over. That usually helps because it changes the angle on the fog horn or something. Try that, hope it helps.

Thanks Hazel! That works with my boyfriend for all of 10 seconds, but I’m scared of walking into the other bedrooms and being flashed, or worse still, being inhaled by the snore monsters!

ashleyyy, you’re a genius apart from no smoke alarm (eek I know, we’ll all burn in our sleep) and same problem of being scared of the nakedness of men that aren’t my own, I don’t think my poor eyes could cope!

I’m glad you’re laughing! I’m soooo tired! I had a little idea of stuffing tissue up their noses. It sort of worked until one of them stopped breathing and I thought I’d killed him! Back to cake making I guess! I’ll be able to feed a third world at this rate, but I’ll be sleeping while they eat (quietly!)

thanks H! I ended up putting ear plugs in and sleeping in the car (because I could hear them from outside too!)

I don’t mind so much when it’s just my boyfriend as I can just kick him until he wakes up and then fall alseep in the short time that he stays awake, but when there’s 4 guys snoring loudly,if I was going around kicking them, by the time I crawled into bed they’d be at it again!

Luckily we have no friends staying over tonight so I’ll be able to catch up on my sleep! :D
