twilight?

okay, i all but refused to read twilight because the only people i heard talking about it were whining little girls who thought they’d never find love and blahblahblah…but one of my coworkers left her copy of it at the front desk at work and i got bored [forgot my book at home] and read the back cover, discovered there were vampires [i love vampire stories] and decided to give it a shot [if i hated it i could always stop]…okay, i was hooked from the start…it turned out to be a great book [since the coworker had 2 days off i took it up with me] and i finished it in about 19 hours [i’m deliriously tired right now, btw, b/c it was yesterday when i read it]…but now i’m sad that it’s over…the story was so wonderfully written with a great mix of love, teen angst, action, and of course vampires…now i need to read the next book…not want, but freaking need…i read the preview at the end of twilight [and i’m so pissed that the preview ended so abruptly] and was hooked again…

so, what is the name of the second book? are there more? will there be? what bookstores in the us carry it? and finally, does edward ever freaking finally turn bella into a vampire or what?

i can’t believe i just went on a little rave about the book before the actual questioning part…lol…

The books in chronological order are

Twilight
New Moon
Eclipse
Breaking Dawn

They are (at least in UK and probably in US) available in most book store. It is a very popular series.

The series has been turned into several films, release dates (general release) for:

Twilight - 21/11/08
New Moon - 20/11/09
Eclipse - 30/06/10

and the upcoming Breaking Dawn, which will get released in two parts

Part 1 - 18/11/11
Part 2 - 16/11/12

I haven’t read the books but have seen the first two films. They are OK and I’m impressed by the release dates of each film, a good regular year apart (except Eclipse) which the Harry Potter team should learn from next time they tackle a series.

I can’t reveal whether she gets turned into a vampire or not though, that’s a spoiler. I don’t feel that evil.
