Sitting help: I think I have a serious problem with my knee - Help.com

I think I have a serious problem with my knee

If i sit on a horse for too long, my knee will cramp up and get all sore for the next few hours. I went on a really long trail ride yeasterday and it hurt really bad…and it still hurts. I’ve already seen a doctor about it and they all say different things. I can wiggle my foot the way I can wiggle my other one and I cant keep my heel down. Its like the muscles in my leg just gave up. Does anyone else have this problem? Or know what it is?

hey!

i have similar issues with my foot. i had a steroid injection (which hurt initially for a few days) and since then i havnt had as many problems.

i also know of someone who had the injection on their knee and from what i gather it helped them too.

it may be worth an ask

Also, you might try some leg strengthening exercises, which will help the muscles that support the knee. You might need to get a dr.’s OK to do these first, just in case though. Here’s a link for those:
