friends help: I want a “bff” again… - Help.com

Me too, I don’t have bff any more. They all seem to forget about you when they have a boyfriend and that makes me loose trust in them because if they were really a good friend they would make time. Then other’s just aren’t very dependable. Gahh girls for friends are rubbish :(

That’s pretty lousy alright. I commend you for staying clean. That wasn’t easy but you did it. I hope you feel proud.

First may I say I am glad you wish to keep those values.

But in some twisted way it does isolate you as one of “them” or one of “those”.
I am one of “them” and your one of “them” but we are therefor boring?

I am the same way. My BFF is 600 miles away and I talk to her about once every two months, it’s horrible! I just hang out with all of my boyfriend and I’s mutual guy friends. I like sports, poker, video games, etc, but sometimes I need girl time. So, basically, I’ll be your new BFF. If you’ll have me.

I’m in the same boat.
My “best friend” and I recently stopped hanging out. She went to a local college, got new friends and got interested in other things. (Drinking, frat parties, ect) I dunno but that’s just not my type of thing.
I don’t think I’ve seen her now for about 2 months. We used to hang out every weekend, talk daily and at one point we used to work together. My fiance and I got engaged in July and I don’t know if that sort of pissed her off? She was sort of jealous of our relationship .. or what.. but yeah. I have nobody except family to talk to, unless I talk to my fiance.. but if I have problems with him or concerns I need a girls advice on, I have nobody. It’s extremely depressing.

Your eyes are really pretty!! As for the bestfriend thing you are right. They do hurt you the most. It’s hard to have a bestfriend especially when you whine and complain a little to much sometimes. Just keep looking I know there is someone out there for you. I’m not happy to say this but me and my bff are on the rocker at the moment and I don’t think it’s gonna turn out to well.
