If its like OR, you just need the right legal forms and file it at the court. If its contested or going to be nasty, get a lawyer. If you can work it out without it getting nasty, I recommend getting a mediator. Its a lot less expensive than court and you can be more flexible with the parenting plan and other items. you should be able to find them in the phone book under family or divorce mediators

You can get a kit that includes everything you need to file for an uncontested divorce at [ http://www.legalformsbank.biz/unconte… ]. The kit includes the divorce forms you need to fill out and a handbook on how to file the divorce forms in Washington.
