What’s a great videogame for couples?
My wife hates videogames, but I love them. Are there any multiplayer videogames that are good for those that both love and hate them? Maybe something based on a book or a TV series? We enjoy Law and Order. I also heard the daVinci Code is coming out as a game…

I think classic puzzle games are good games to play with the opposite sex. Games like Tetris, Bust-A-Move, Puzzle Fighter, and such are great for couples IMO. Of course you gotta take it easy on her or else it’ll get real lame, real fast =D
I also love classic NES and SNES hits like Contra, Mario Kart, Street Fighter II.. and so on.
Call me an old outdated fart, I haven’t touched a PS2 or XBox or anything like that in years
Not sure about multiplayer games, but a lot of the older gamers I talk with say that any of the Sims series tends to go over well with their wives.
Sadly, most games based on tv or movies suck. You can usually assume that. I like some video games and it is fun to play them with my husband. Some of the games we enjoy playing togethor is:
Ratchet and Clank co-op: this one is like a cuter Halo but is kinda hard to handle for someone new
Destroy all Humans 2 co-op: Controlls are kinda hard but fun once you get the hang of it.
Lego Starwars 2 co-op: this one is prolly the easiest for a beginner gamer. Theres shoot and jump and an action button. Also really funny.
Or try some basic side-scrolling games. Go simple and try not to be too competitive. She may be more willing to try your hobbies if you try hers, too. I know that helps with me.
Animal Crossing! It’s about life and you’ll understand what your doing in one time play. You need yo pay your rent so you can make your house bigger, improve your town and home so you’ll get points through Happy Room Academy. And if you have two DS, you can visit eachothers town through wifi. Well thats just my opinion. Even my 20 year-old sister doesnt know it but when she discovered it, she was addicted and was playing it for about 3 months already. She’s even sleeping at 4am just for that.

I have the same problem, or at least I HAD the same problem. My girlfreind hated computer games untill I got a nintendo WII, She loves it and no she’s even shopping for games for us both to play. I know some of the games arn’t for the Hard-Core gamer but they are so graphically pleasing and easy to use i think people of all experiences can appriciate the programming and gaming style
Guitar Hero is fun together.
