Hair help: I have really thin hair that goes down do my shoulders. - Help.com

they say if you get layers it makes your hair seem thicker. I have thin hair also, I have been useing Dove intence repair or intence rehab( or something like that its the big blue bottle) shampoo and conditioner. And it has made my hair healthy and it seems thicker to. I also has made it where I dont get split ends very fast anymore..also eating alot of protein helps make for healthy hair..you could also try hair vitamins..

Oh and also if its so thin you can kinda see your scalp, dying your hair blonde will help comoflogie it, I have also heard dying your hair will kinda thicken it.

But be careful because bleaching can make hair thinner. If it’s really bad, you should see a dermatologist, or some kind of doctor to see it’s a medical condition.

how would a dermatologist help? They deal with skin.

If it’s a scalp thing, the scalp is skin and I don’t know what a scalp doctor is called. :)

thin hair isnt a scalp thing. Its a hair thing.

A perm would make it look thicker also. Maybe just a wave instead of a full out perm, you don’t want to look like Annie:)

Always blow dry your hair upside down. First of course using a body building shampoo. PRElL is a good one to use, as are the clairifying ones. When dry, spray using a decent hairspray, upside down then ,throw back. Don’t touch after that.

No, I like it, I’m wondering what to do with it. Cut-wise, mostly. It’s kind of unevenly cut right now.

Is it all one length? Mine is layered. A good trim can make all the difference in swing, and looking lovely :)

One side mostly is. It’s not a good cut. And I’ve been trying to grow it out, and my bangs too.

So how long exactly is it? To your shoulders? Have you tried any of the cute hair extensions that are pretty cheap but look great? Do you have any streaks of color in it?

Past my shoulders, no colour, but I’m thinking about lightening it and putting in blue streaks, and stores don’t sell hair extensions like that around here.

Then you would look great with the steaks of blue.Be sure to get a nice trim first :)

In very small doses, usually with black, hot pink can be okay, but not in my hair.
