what if they dont get it, what if they hate me for it?
i know i just i don’t know why I’m in school for what I’m in for, its… i don’t know i just wish i could just stop and take a look at what i want to do but my parents won’t just let me do that. I mean dont get me wrong i want to finish school but i just think im doing the wrong thing but my parents they would be so mad at me and tell me that I’m a disappointment. I think im just terrified to hear them say that
no college, i dont know i just dont want to be doing this right now i dont want to be here in school
If you drop out of school, go to the nearest Tattoo parlor–there are a lot of them on Toronto’s Yonge Street–and get “LOSER” tattooed across your forehead, because that’s how people will see you from now on. If you can’t get through high school with the kind of support system–parents, food, roof over your head, clothes, hot water, electricity–you have at home, then you won’t be able to get through any other challenge in your life. Think about it. Think about WHY high school dropouts only get lousy, low-paying jobs, if they get a job at all. The reason: people know that high school dropouts are QUITTERS, that they GIVE UP and DROP OUT the very first time thing get even a little bit difficult. So, if you drop out of school, come to Yonge Street and I’ll pay for the tattoo myself!
Don’t listen to that chev.jame idiot, he knows nothing. Not all high school drop outs are quitters. I’m currently planing to drop out, but that dose not mean I am a loser or a quitter. I have big plans, and I figured out how to pull them off with out that piece of paper.
If you want to know some people who made it big without it, there is Andrew Jackson, J.D. Rockafeler (worlds first billionare), Lucile Ball, just to name a few. It may be a harder start without it, but believe me, it is not the end of the world.
Pieman, I am sorry, but if you drop out of high school, it DOES mean that you are a quitter. It means that you have FAILED life’s first big test: graduation from high school. That doesn’t speak well of your ability to complete anything else, because you QUIT before completing your first goal! You cite Andrew Jackson–but there wasn’t universal public education at that time. You misspelled the Rockefeller name, and you misspelled Lucille. You also misspelled “planning” and “does.” And you made a comma fault in your first sentence. Are you beginning to get the picture? QUIT and you will just go on being ignorant, and you will have nothing but menial, low-paying jobs for the rest of your life. So you’ve got big plans that you plan to carry out, but you cannot even finish high school? Give me a break! That’s like saying you can’t swim a lap in the swimming pool, but you’re going to swim the English Channel! Come on, Pieman, THINK! What have you got going on now that is so VALUABLE that it comes before completing your BASIC education? Are you supporting a car? Is it a girlfriend that you think you’re going to move in with? You need to start looking for jobs and see how far you get. Here’s something you might try out: they always need people to clean out chicken houses. Or maybe you can ditch your high school diploma and go to “Hamburger University” so you can flip burgers for the next two decades of your life! Pieman, you need a “reality check.” You need to talk to some people who didn’t complete high school RECENTLY, and see how they are doing. And you will find out they are not doing so well. During the Depression, a lot of kids dropped out of school to get jobs, because things were desperate back then. But you don’t HAVE to quit school. You can even work part time. But throwing away your future because of your supposed “big plans” just doesn’t pass the common sense test. Think long and hard before you drop out of school. Life is about choices, Pieman, and if you don’t think your life will suffer because of bad choices, think again. And, really, talk to some people who have and who have not completed school. Compare their situations. But I’m telling you this right now: if you are the kind of person who cannot complete high school, no one will ever think of you except as a loser and a quitter who is extremely short-sighted and who should never be given a position of responsibility.
you know its rude to call someone a loser because they wanted to drop out of school and you probably don’t even know the person don’t judge people….
****** ignorant people. **** you chev, conformity has taken a big part in too many peoples lives, and who says living ‘lower’ then the average people is a bad thing?
Chev, you are a moron. The only reason I’ve looked this up, is to see how I should talk to my parents about it. I have been a straight A student up until my Junior year, and now I’m sick of school. It takes to much of my life away from me, when I’d be pefectly content, to go to Norway, play black metal, and live off the land. I don’t give a **** how well I’ll live. As long as I’m having fun that’s all that matters.
What is the point in life, but having fun? Nothing, there is nothing else…. Love, and fun. If you don’t have those 2, you might as well go suicidal. Schools are beginning to make it impossible to expirience either of those.. The classic thing is “You’ll have fun later in life” What if you died tomorrow? What if the world ended? You have to look at things like that. Chev is a moron.
Nevermind, I see you are a part of the #1 killig society in the world. **** your false god, **** you, and **** Jesus christ and the millions who have died, for him, and without him wasting their life on him. What are you gonna do Mr. army man? Burn me on a stake?
Lol, this post made me laugh, your all uneducated.
