In desperate need of Assistance!

! Does anyone else feel like they’re being made to run in circles? Here’s my story: My name is Taylor; I’m an 18 (almost 19!) year old woman with absolutely ZERO credit. I currently work for a company that specializes in Access Flooring as their Office Manager. Now, I’ve never had a credit card, never had a utility bill in my name, never applied for credit…..so I have no possible way, it seems, to procure a loan. I’m reliable, and dependable, and have held steady jobs since I was 15 years old. I’ve always had to depend on myself for things, and never thought I would need anyone else’s help. Unfortunately, it seems, I was wrong. I need a car, badly (mine had a transmission problem that my mechanic said was irreparable, and so I sold it to a scrap yard for quite a bit less than I bought it for) but I can’t find anyone that will finance me. I don’t need a new car–if it runs well, its good enough for me. If anyone knows anywhere I might be able to get approved for a loan, or for financing, or if someone is giving away free vehicles (lol), please contact me ASAP. ANY useful information you have would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
–Taylor C.

Hey I was in a similar predictament a few weeks ago. My car broke down, and being a college student w/ no credit no one would lend to me. It was horrible. So I started looking for ways just to earn the money.
It so worked!! Within in 3 days I had earned $480. So if the same worked for you, you could have enough to buy a car within a week. A great place to buy a car is an auction. You can get really good deals.
And seriously, you can turn $5 into a couple hundred or even thousand within a few days. It worked so well for me now I don’t even have to work.
Try it. Best part is they pay fast and offer full support.

Lol! I know, I know–its just really hard these days. I pay 600/mo for rent, and only make about 1,000/mo (after taxes, etc) so it leaves me with very little room to save money, ya know?

Could you ask family to co-sign?

Have you looked at like www.craigslist.org for used cars ?
Having a cellphone or anything in your name can help you build credit. Getting a secured credit card through your banking establishment, or any would help.

I didn’t have any credit 2 years ago, but I’ve been working on it for two years now, and I can’t keep the junk mail out of my box. All you need is one credit card that you pay off or back asap, and in 6-12 months you’ll start getting offers for LOTS of them.

Well, I tried applying for a loan through Wells Fargo, which is where I do all my banking, but to no avail. I don’t really have any family….um, my mother and I haven’t spoken in a couple years, and I haven’t talked to my father since father’s day of last year, and grandmother is disabled and receives social security, and my grandfather lives in Nebraska. lol. Other than that, I don’t know any of my family….I’m a little limited on resources.

And I did actually post a listing on Craigslist–there’s a lot going on in the barter section, but unfortunately, that hasn’t yielded any results either.

A co-signer doesn’t mean that they are necessarily helping you financially, but that you are basing your score off their score which helps you to build your score.

Good credit takes time to develop but can be ruined in a matter of a few actions.

Maybe you should contact and independant seller, or even a small car lot, and see if you can finance a car. There’s little harm in asking. You can even get a copy of a promissory note so if that person is uncomfortable with letting a stranger finance a purchase through them—you’re legally bound to terms that you can negotiate and afford.

The car I currently drive, I bought from a dealership that let me make $100 biweekly for a year, with a $1000 down payment. Yes the new car might seem like a ripoff, and you might feel like why do I have to pay so much—but sometimes that’s all you can do. My ex-husband totaled 3 cars, 2 of which were completely in my name and I had paid most of, leaving me with little/no options.

I know it–but my family isn’t famous for good credit….except for my mother, but like I said, she’s sort of unreachable. lol.
