why is it always the same thing you do something that youve always wanted to do then people start to pick on you i got me eyebrow peirced and me hair cut and now im being labeled goth and emo when im not. i still like avenged sevenfold and PATD but it doesnt mean im a goth im sick of it

Everyone is labelled nowadays. If you are popular and are pretty, you are labelled a ‘****’ and if you have dark hair and piercings people think you are a ‘goth’. It’s not really fair! But its just the way teenagers are! Be proud of your look! If people are being rude, then just tell them to bugger off!

my husband is very similar. because he has piercings, my family thought he was goth and scary. Now, they have just learned to broaden the definition of the word normal. As long as you know what you are, don’t let the haters get the satisfaction.
