Chapter 1
The First Awakening
Darkness, Deep Darkness, Darkness deeper than the oceans, for fifteen hundred years this is all I could see or feel, deep darkness for fifteen hundred years. Then a flickering of colours who or what was this, was it a soul? No, too complex for a soul. Suddenly the colours of orange, red and yellow overtook the darkness of the black, what was this I was feeling? I asked myself. Then I heard a loud creak and I opened my big green eyes,
I saw a big orange object in a big blue object, white things floated across the blue object. What were these strange objects? I looked into their soul, nothing what could these be if they had no soul how did they move so gloriously across the blue object and this orange object it just stayed there so tall and proud, how did it stay there with no support or strings? So many questions who would answer them? Even more questions. My green short haired head started to move around. Then these two objects came from nowhere and grabbed my head to stop it moving in many directions. I was panicking where did they come from? Did they come from the blue object up above? Then I lifted my head up these objects where attached to two long pipes that were attached to a short round object covered in a red dress which had a picture of a tongue on it, coming from the bottom of this dress came out two more pipes with little pointy things coming of them, not the same as the ones holding my head.
“She’s a strange one.” Came a voice from the right of the room, what was this I thought to myself. I turned my head right and something started coming out of my mouth,
“S-t-r-a-n-g-e O-n-e?” I asked slowly not knowing what I was doing, and then it came out again only this time faster and louder “Strange one who’s that? I’m Bebe.” Then I looked closer at the source of the first noise, it was a tall monster girl pink with blood red eyes she wore a long pink dress the closer I looked the more of her soul I saw, red and orange the colours of hatred and bloodlust, such simple colours plain and dull.
“She’s looking at me Kola,” muttered the monster demon girl with her brown horns and simple soul. Only then did I notice the tall half human half monster with dark black armour and silver horns I stared into his deep amber eyes and saw emerald and scarlet then gold these colour in one soul so complex so different. Kola looked at me strangely,
“What are these?” I asked and showed him the things that touched my head “and what are the pipes they are attached to?” I turned my head and looked at him
“They are hands and these ‘pipes’ are arms, they are connected to your body, which is connected to your head and your legs.” He stopped to take a breath he seemed to know everything, the girl he was with just kept as silent as darkness “and at the end of your legs are feet.” ‘Feet’ I thought to myself and without even thinking I stood up and jumped out of my tomb and began to walk over to the one called ‘Kola’ the eyes widened and Kola’s soul went white.
“The whiteness of shock hehehe” I began to laugh and dance then the demon girl replied
“What?” and her eyes widened even more; I stopped dancing and turned my eyes towards Kola.
“His soul is the colour of white the colour of confusion and suspicion,” then I giggled and jumped up and down “What are the white objects up above? They have no soul but they move so freely” I asked him this with confidence. I knew he knew the answer.
“Them,” he giggled deeply and pointed at the white objects “they are clouds and the never ending blue; we call that ‘sky’.” He explained this with such detail such confidence he knew everything.
“Sky? Clouds?” I muttered to myself “And what about the glowing object?” I turned my head sideways and looked at Kola,
“That’s easy we call that su…” he was interrupted by a loud creak, he stopped to look at the second tomb next to my red one. This tomb was identical to mine but it was blue instead of red.
The tomb door opened and out came a little girl with green hair like mine she was the same size as me she was identical to me, all except the blue dress she wore and her blue hat. They looked like mine but I was dressed in red she was in blue I had white gloves and black shoes but she was different she wore black gloves and white shoes her soul same as mine. But she seemed to be stronger smarter and when she spoke it came out naturally.
“I am Ebeb the second monster of dwell who dares interrupt the eternal sleep of Ebeb and Bebe.” She said this in a deep voice how did she know so much? Maybe, was she awakened before? Kola knows a lot maybe he knew. I turned to look at Kola as did Ebeb she could only see the human part of Kola she looked at him with anger.
“HUMAN!” she screamed with a powerful voice, and without thinking twice she broke off a spike from the wall and threw it at Kola she laughed as the spike flew towards Kola. I stood there watching in silence. Then Kola turned to look at the spike and the room went silent and slow. The demon girl tried to push Kola out of the way, Ebeb started jumping up and down laughing like I would, and Kola just stood there. Then the sharp blade pierced through his chest Ebeb kept on laughing, Kola fell to the floor the demon girl fell next to him in tears.
Red and red and red poured out of the hole in Kolas chest where the spike had pierced. The demon girl ran off in tears and Ebeb looked at me.
“We do not talk with humans, get back to bed” she said as her face went red with anger.
“NO!” I replied whilst folding my arms
“Ok then I’ll make you get to bed” Ebeb lifted her arm up to the sky; the room fell black surrounded by black what was happening? Ebeb walked over to me and I began to float towards my tomb,
“NO!” I screamed and struggled but it was no use she was to powerful.
Just before my tomb door closed I saw Ebeb climb in the her tomb and she softly said to me,
“Night night Bebe.” And both are tomb doors creaked as they closed. Then I heard a ‘click’ and my door was locked darkness all around.
Darkness, Deep Darkness, Darkness deeper than the oceans, for fifteen hundred years this is all I could see or feel, deep darkness for fifteen hundred years. Everything returns to the darkness, the darkness it beckons me. These voices where the only ones I heard for fifteen hundred years.
