Anybody can help me with the stupid affair stuff?

well the story is roughly like, i liked a guy and he didnt like me back and told me to forget about a relationship (there was a bit affair but its already over), but i was not over him and lied to him that i would only treat him like my brother thereafter SO AS to meet him on a regular basis.
so he told me the other day that he was sick, i decided to see him in his apartment. it was a surprise but didnt seem so good as he didnt let me in, saying he has some visitors, and he didnt even walk me out.
so now, i got no sms from him, no email from him, havent heard anything frome him after that!
what do you guys think it means?
