automobile help: I’m taking the driving test in new jersey this monday - Help.com

I’m taking the driving test in new jersey this monday

the thing is i don’t know what kind of car i can use to take the test. I have a 2003 Chevy Impala, There is no emergency parking brake on the right hand side. But there is also no console between the driver and the passenger, so the driving instructor could reach the brake.
Does this qualify my car as eligible to test in, or do i have to find a rental car, and if so, where?

No, you have to have a parking brake in the center. Ask around, one of your friends probably has one you can borrow. I’m not positive your allowed to rent one. You can us the car that took you through your six hours, most companies provide it.

Yeah, call them first. Some schools pick you up and take you to the test.
