i am a 21 year old woman that lives in greenville south carolina.

i was living with my sister until she put me out of her house, i am currently homeless have a job no vehicle and have school to attend but as of now i’m failing because i cant make it to school. i was currently staying in days inn but i’m all out of money for a room and i’m just sitting here hoping i find a way somewhere i really dont know what to do, i called all the churches that i’ve been tld about and none was helpful, i have a list of shelters that i can go to but i have no way of getting to them and i’m a tad bit affraid to live ina shelter in a city where i’m not from, its really hard and i’m running out of options. what can you do for me?

Sadly we can’t do much beyond advise you about shelters. However, for what it is worth you might just have to bite the bullet and go to one. In most cities these aren’t dangerous places.

As for transportation, you’ve got two options. The bus system is one:

The other is signing up for a rideshare or carpool program.

I’m not sure about the distances you need to cover, but buying a used, but good bicycle might be a really healthy way to get around.

However, the bottom line is that you are struggling and running out of money. You might have to drop out of school for the moment and just get a job, find a roommate situation and just save up money for a car and school. I can certainly make some recommendations there if you need job search assistance.
