you sure it wasnt a dream?
some of my dreams seem so real too.
then i alway ike you… wake up with a jump
no. you need help
kidding. everyones dreams are different and i reckon its probably normal to have different experiences in the land of sleep. I never dreamed before ib. now i think cause of all the caffeine and less sleep ive started dreaming. weird, eh?
I always wonder about that stuff too.
I think its a very interesting topic.
thats a pretty creepy thing to happen tho.
im not sure if it is normal or not tho.
hasnt happen to me yet
yea, it dont seem like a dream to me cos it felt real. I tot i was involved in an accident and thus, i was the hospital. For that moment, it felt like i had a right arm injury cos of the accident and someone was holding it. My chest felt heavy too…
I was trying to recall if i was in an accident or something..and when i realised i didn’t, thats when i was back to reality.
what actually happen when we r dreaming? I heard that our spirits actually leave our body when we sleep? is it true?

I have no idea. That’ was Shie’s opinion. But it seemed to me that in my dream I traveled through time. I tend to think it just shows the power of our minds, our imaginations, but then I can’t explain how I still saw figures after I woke up.
thats so cool.
and creepy
too bad there wasnt a way to prove this stuff yet
yea, it would so interesting if we know more about all these stuff
If anyone wanted to look at it further, a psychological approach would be good. Some believe that dreaming is your mind, i guess being playful and letting your creative side loose. It can also be identified the times in which you dream cause your eyes start rolling around and your brain activity increases but your heart rate remains quite low.
So maybe that sort of out of body experience is somewhere and between and if they did some study on people whom have similiar expiriences regularly, you’d be able to identify some trends.
string theory! what you saw could be a tiny fracture in the space time continuum where you were in another dimension for a quick second! or it just could have been a dream your mind is a powerful tool it can make you think certain things!
It could be possible that you were in that half-dream state where physical events in the waking world can influence your dreams. I know that I have been half asleep in the morning and people talking elsewhere in the house will be like they are talking in my dreams.

I was alone at home
You mean that even when you are home alone there is no noise around or people in other houses? Not even a dog barking?
Im positive its all quiet. There’s no pets etc…the voices i heard sounded like they were near me…like when ur talking to someone face to face..its this close. There werent any shoutings…cos i could only hear a neighbour talk when they shout/
Maybe you should just be proud. There are some people who have dreams so vivid they dream in color. Maybe you’re just able to do something that most brains are usually not strong enough to handle.
Sounds rather like you had an awesome dream :)
When we reach REM cycle our brains start sending random electrical impulses throughout our brain, this helps build new neural associations (dual pathways to access one part of the brain) thus binding our memories by making it easier to think of one thing by thinking about another. Thus when I think about Summer, it also activates the linked neural pathway to my memory of Lake Tahoe.
The human mind is absolutely obsessed with making sense of things. With all these random electrical impulses firing throughout our brain causing chaotic visual, aural, memory, and muscular bursts of activity our brain ties it all together to make a story, a dream. Same thing happens in Korsakoff’s syndrome… except you are awake at the time :)
Honestly, sleep is really one of the coolest things we do… what if I said to you “Hey I’ll be right back, I’m gonna head home and for 2 hours or so slip into a coma, experience a storm of chaotic electrical activity in my prefrontal cortex, hallucinate, suffer Korsakoff’s as a result and potentially have retrograde amnesia regarding the whole event!” (With thanks to XKCD)

Is there another dimension other than the reality and our dreams? Yesterday, i was asleep. Before I was could wake up, i heard voices…real voices near me. I heard them call for me and i could feel one of them was holding my right arm. I couldnt see a thing (it wasnt a dream) but i feel like i was in a hospital bed and they’re waking me up. When i started to open my eyes, i see the hospital bed…but as i jumped up from my sleep, i realised i was in my room again. This whole thing took a few seconds..and when i was fully awake, my right arm felt stiff. Is this normal?????
