Another poem.
I’m holding on whatever to keep me from the voices
Drowning out the pain by a dozen of bad choices
Not walking a straight line but I know that I’m still going
Stuck upon the zig zag as the line just keeps unfolding
Jadded edges crumble as they fall into a crack
I don’t know what’s behind me because I’m afraid to look back
A burden’s chasing after me and haunting all my dreams
Pretend that I’m still sleeping as I hear the echoed screams
Until another beam falls down and makes me turn around
Pretending that I’ve lost something so something can be found
The circle just continues until I find myself agaze
And realize that my life is just another troubled maze
