I lied to my new boyfriend i told him i have a job

but i dont and i did not think things would get serious with him i know what i did was wrong i am actually getting ready for college and wanted to tell him that when i first met him but i lied instead and now i dont know what to do i dont want to tell him i lied i want to know what else i could tell him i am so confused please no nasty comments i feel awful for lying to him as it is

The longer you let the lie go on, the worse it is. Just tell him now. You might also confess the reason you lied - I can’t speculate about why that would be, cuz going to college is a good thing too.

All you have to do is say your heading for college. Why open up a can of worms.That will only plant the I don’t trust seed. Avoid the work subject if you can. Focus on the positive of college, not a passing statement that was made upon first meeting.

just tell him the truth lieing more and more wont help u will ust fall futher in love with him and end up hating urself as result ov all these lies. Trust me i know been bought the t-shirt i told him the truth about 6 months later he forgave but i was kinda lucky that way just do it if has anything about him he will understand and realise how much courage it takes to confess to lying esp to someone u really care for
