Is there such a thing as one true love?
When you find love at a very young age, can it be the one you never forget?
At 14, I fell immensely in love with a boy. And though my feelings were immature at the time, I remember feeling he was very special to me. Never really got to know him though, as I was too shy and so was he. Then a miracle happens. We meet after 24 years, and discover we have everything in commom, including a strong affection for each other. Meanwhile I’ve been married to a man I met at 16, and I really never noticed before but the two of them were actually very much alike back then. My husband and I divorced as we discovered our marriage was founded upon the wrong kind of feelings. We were the best of friends, and still are, but I realize now that marrying him was probably not the right thing to do. Does it make any sense? Are these feelings of mine to be trusted? Or is it just my memories pulling my leg? Has anyone experienced anything like this?
