Do you need to go back that far?

Wait, American society in the middle ages and renaissance? Weren’t they before America was founded?

Well if I were doing it I’d just focus on the last 50 years or so, focus on each decade from the 60’s onwards but do them all in detail. Unless you’ve been told that you need to go further back than that?

5 minutes will fly by, you could spend 5 minutes on the last 10 years easily enough so it shouldn’t be a problem to go from the last 5 decades or so. Good luck with it, hope it goes well for you :)

Actually, middle ages was before America was discovered (the continent)

I don’t know you indeed, why is that relevant?!

I think they meant in reference to their public speaking abilities/fears. Like five minutes would feel like a lot longer to them.
