Some questions about career info…

Right now I’m planning on either taking Adult Education classes or getting my HSDiploma online from Ashworth University. From there I wish to further my education more, but thats more or less where I’m stuck…

I would like to be a Biologist/Physicist/Engineer or all haha. Those are my main objections in my life right now, although from those assumptions I don’t really know what path to take. I plan on doing the online thing because I don’t have a car to get back and forth to the AE centers and such. After I do get my Diploma though I want to study even more so I can get accepted into either a Community College or a real college. But for the most part I don’t know what to do haha. Any suggestions?

Well, when you start out in college, you have to take general ed. classes first anyway. Each year you need to take a certain amount of those + one or two ‘electives.’ Make your electives be in one of the fields that you think you are interested in pursuing.

Also, make sure the college is accredited.

Stay at the community college as long as you can….less expensive. Just make sure the credits transfer to a university.

Do you like math and science? You would be getting lots of those classes.

What do you want to DO as a Biologist/Physicist/Engineer?

My boyfriend does engineering, there is really a lot of maths, especially in civil.

my other friend does electrical engineering and he said that there is a lot of physics.

JellyBelly is right, if you take those subjects youre seriously gona get heaps of maths and science. and its not easy too

Oh yea I know. Numbers aren’t really a problem for me when I know the formula to use them in. Besides decimals and fractions >.> but everyone has problems with though ;)

Anyway what I really want to DO is research different things. I’m not really looking for an exact question, I just LOVE researching things and how they are related and how they function things like that. I want to be a BioChemist so I can develope new ways of helping people with certain diseases. I mean is it so bad for me to want to try and Cure Cancer? My mom died of cancer so thats a taboo for me -_-

Anyways, engineering wise, I would want to come up with new ways of missile defense to make this country/and-or/other countries more safe from attacks. Especially if they did nothing wrong in the first place to aggravate such attacks…

Anyway, I’m not sure if those are the right fields, but I won’t to do more research on Atoms and Quantum Mechanics and the such….but I also want to make videos games….I guess I want to intermingle the 2/3 to create a incredibly ground breaking video game, but thats far off in the future. I’ll always look up game design. I have about a 90% decision of studying game design and programming, I also want to create artificial intelligence cause i have a basic outline in my head of how I can make them completely realistic…I know by doing this though I would defy god…but I dunno. I’ve just thought of Idea’s that no-one has yet or hasn’t been able to do. I love the thought of A.I. but if it comes down to it I would destroy my creation in an instant along with all papers related to it to prevent such catastrophe. Anyway though I have a lot of goals for my life, and I REALLY want to reach some of them or at least have the chance to study along the course of comming closer to the answers.
