Ok, last night i really scared myself.

I was reading about urban legends and I found a page called Murdering Madmen (and revolting crimes that have apparently been commited) and i was reading a couple and i started feeling shivers down my spine and felt i was being watched from outside my window.

And if you’ve read other posts (particularly about nightmares) you’ll know i have a really vivid imagination so i couldn’t get to sleep because my house creaks a lot and and i keep imagining ‘men’ coming to get me.

I have to get up early tomorrow for a theatre trip for drama and i want to get to sleep tonight. Any idea’s how i can forget about it all and get a decent nights sleep for the rest of the week?

my suggestion is to put on some music that you enjoy and read a book or something to occupiy your mind. I used to have problems like that after watching some films, but what i suggested helped me every time :) just do something gnerally tot ake your mind off it.

Thanks I gave up sleeping later and tried reading a book which I realised was about Dracula so i threw that idea out. Maybe a funnier one would be better.

Watch a comedy. Rent one or two. And remember that attacks by “murdering madmen” are extremely rare.

Of course, good locks and an alarm system help provide a good night’s sleep . . . as well as the nasty surprise Watson and I have for someone who breaks in anyway . . .
