When I was a little kid, in preschool, my siblings and I met this other kid named Jim. Jim became our best friend. Well, we had a “playdate” w/ him that year when we were four or something, and found out that he was our long lost cousin…we had never met him before. We had grown close over the years. And he was still our best friend.

Two days ago, his grandfather died from lung cancer.
He was not a smoker.

Jim found out today…he is really depressed.
The funeral is next week.
My whole family is attending.
It was his mom’s dad, so he wasn’t related to us, but it still hurt as his grandfather was a wonderful person.

I am just asking for prayers for the whole family..this has hit hard.

My thoughts are with you.
Just remember, life’s like a big party, it has to end sometime and hopefully on a good note.
I’m sure his grandfather where he might be now is out of the pain of his cancer, I’m just disappointed in the fact that he had that without even smoking. People like his grandfather are the ones that I want to help; I’m working towards a cure for cancer.
I hope you feel better and things start to look up.

I am sorry for the sadness fealt by your cousin and yourself. By the death of your cousins grandfather.
He was a special person that obviously meant a lot to both of you and most likely to many others as well. To be loved and missed, like he is by both of you, makes him very rich man indeed. True love is priceless.
He will have left you both his love and some of his wisdom in return. Cherrish it and hold on to it, it has been left for you to use in times when you need it most. This is not only the end of an era, but is also the beggining of a new one. He was tired and had to leave. He has left you something to help you to live how he wanted you to live. He has left you both a love and respect, you can share with others, in there time of need
Something that will strenthen your cousin and yourself, something that again is priceless. He has left you both a lot of his love.
I dont pray but I do meditate and send good thoughts to people in need of them. I will be doing this for you both tonight.

so sorry to hear of the news of his passing.. i will definitely pray for him… and give your cousin a great big hug and let him know that his grandpa isnt suffering anymore… many hugs to you as well.. shie.

I can only hope his life was well lived, and he was well loved. If he had both of those, he was a very rich man. May he rest in peace.
