Regreting some things now…

.

I still have the scars on my wrist from when I used to cut myself..I CANT STAND it when someone comments on them..like “oh was someone mad!” my boyfriend noticed after we had been together for like 5 months while we were waiting to be seated at the olive garden..aparently he was so shocked when he noticed them he said rather loudly “what the hell is on your wrist?” I suppose he thought they were recent. Its been 5 years now and **** it they are still there..anyone know how I can get rid of them..Im not that person anymore I dont hate myself anymore..I dont want people to notice my scares and think Im still that person..

Have you tried creams that lighten/reduce the appearance of scars?

OK, I believed like slimline. But Charlie seems pretty sure in her replies and I am humble enough to say that I don’t know. Though I never heard about that bio oil before.

But as a comparison, find out the estimated costs for removing them surgically from your house doctor. It may not be that expensive.

You’re not that person anymore, what about accepting your past is a part of you.

He noticed after 5 months? Are you that good at hiding your scars or have they faded more then you think/feel/see?

About reducing scars: (you’ve tried the vit-E and after 5 years I honestly won’t expect miracles from any oil or cream)

Contractubex Gel / Hexilak Gel — They contain allium cepa extract, heparin and allantoin.
Natural treatments — Some scar treatments contain mucin from the snail helix aspersa müller.
Tea tree oil — Frequent (1-3 times daily) application of pure tea tree oil may help.

Seeing a doctor isn’t just “skingrafts” there’s laser therapy, dermabrasion, collagen injections: talk about what kind of results you want and the current state of your scars (size/color/raised/sunken/keloid?).

You don’t seem like a “let’s distract people with a tatoo on my wrist” kind of person, but it’s just another idea..
