Where were you?

Wow how did you manage to get broken glass in every room? I really dont know a good vaccum cleaner. Hopefully someone else can tell you
How have you got glass everywhwere?
I think the only think you can do is go around with a wire brush between the boards scraping it out with the hoover at the same time, also change your sheets and then wash your feet before you get into bed to wash any small shards away.
A wire one or one thats hard to scrape the galss out, use the hoover at the same time to catch the loose bits being brushed out.
whos been fighting??
Depends how harshly you use it, if you are just sweeping the gaps for loose shards then it should be ok, but then I would rather have all the glass up and just re varnish than haveing this problem.
Small bits of glass are a bugger when you get them stuck in you :S

would a softer brush also work?
And i also find it funny how this person is completely ignoring us lol
Probably but may take longer to do.
Anything where you can get right down in the gaps and loosen anything down there enough for the hoover to suck it up.
Well I am in the UK and I don’t know you location to know what brands you have where you are and if I know they are good or not.
I think Henry hoovers and Dysons are pretty good, powerful but can be expensive.
dysons have better suction
can you not ask a neighbour if you could borrow theirs for a bit?
Good idea.. would be more parcticle to borrow one rather than pay out for one just for this sitiation.
be careful!
i am in the US in NY state are dysons really more powerfful than hoovers?
ye they are great i have two for for each floor i would be lost wvout them lol!!!
they work brilliant on matresses too
Hmm language barrier I think :S My fault, we in UK call vaccums hoovers, a dyson to us is a hoover and vacume is a hoover to us.
Dyson is a good bran though.
A henry is as powerful as a dyson but more for industrial work.
my mom buys a new vacuum every 2 months.
Lazy what do you call someone who is pretending to be something they are not?
And someone who always makes their problem, everyone elses?

how much are both?
depends on the model your buying, around 350
No idea Yew.
Why does you mum buy a new one every 2 months?

Don’t know what that is in $ though.
she likes to vacuum.

lol!!!just a bit :)
Thats alot of hoovering then to need replacing that often :O
how true. lol.
it’s a compulsion i think.
Everyday she’ll vacuum the upstairs/downstairs at least 3 times.
let’s hope it does. :]
Wow! Yew, I wish that I could develop that kind of compulsion. How wonderfully clean my house would be. I would love to trade her compulsion for mine, which is snacking. lol I want a compulsion transplant!
What if you placed duct tape, sticky side down, on the area that has the glass and pressed it into the space between the boards? You could probably use the edge of a coin or some other metal object to press the tape onto the glass shards. Then, you could just dispose of the tape and repeat the process until all the glass has been removed.
hi count. Not really, lower middle class. she buys the cheap vacuums…? perhaps that’s why their sucking action, begins to…suck after awhile? my dad’s a postal worker in the USA, she lives comfortably enuff. :p

lol, sorry for the late reply c-eek. She’s very thin. bone-thin really. I have a snacking compulsion too. lol. it’s good to see you , C-eek!
and that is a wonderful idea for glass removal.
