Question about studying abroad!

The program I’d like to use to study abroad has GPA requirements that I don’t meet. Specifically, they want at least a 2.75 GPA…and mine’s a 2.688. Is it even worth going through the hassle to apply for the Spring 2009 semester when there’s VERY good chance I won’t get in? Should I wait until I get my GPA up? I’d really like to go for the Spring one because I know so many people who are going as well–it’d be nice to have some friends in a foreign country, but there’s a serious time crunch to get the application in. I just don’t know if I should even try.

You should go for it! It’s not only your GPA that matters. If you’re graduate your GRE score and references are also important.

Go for it, very little you have to do and the difference you have to achieve is minimal, you can do it. Don’t be discouraged, you would never forgive yourself. When opportunity comes don’t delay it. Just do it.
