Problems with Myspace.com, Friendster or Bebo.com?

Generally speaking, if you are having issues with those sites it is best to contact their support staff directly. These links can get you started:

You need to record them into wave files.

Midi files only contain the information about the keys pressed. Velocity, time and so on. Most sound cards and programs have built in synths and such to make the noises.

If you are on windows then use a recording program like Audacity or Soundforge. Go to the volume control in windows and switch over to the “What U Hear” setting.

If you have a soundblaster card from creative then check your software because they often provide a recorder program as part of the package. That is easier then using an external program like Audacity or Soundforge.

Play your midi files, record them in the program and then convert them to MP3 format. Then upload them to Myspace.

Does that makes sense? If not I can try to expain it a little better.

I bet your program will let you export your music to wave or mp3 files. That would make the whole thing a lot simpler. If it exports to wave then set it to at least 441000 khz, 16 bit. The 441000 can go up to 960000 but leave the 16 bit part the same because not a lot of software supports it right now.

Once its a wave then just use a program to switch it into mp3 and voila!
