Can you actually “develop” asthma later on in your life?

I know that sometimes asthma just goes away, but I’ve never had it and now suddenly I seem to be. I’m 15. I dunno. Help?

Yep as Dani said, same for me too, I got it around 12 years old, I was lucky that mine was triggered by allergies like hayfever so was pretty easy to control, it also went away when I got pregnant with my first child so I assume sometimes it can be related to hormones etc
