Those must have contained offensive words.

to the poster, get more fruits or crackers. It might lessen your junk food intake once you realize you are full. And don’t skip major meals.

You can’t eat what isn’t in the house…. If you crave sweets, go for a cantaloupe. Salt, stick with a pretzel :)

Oh I know that feeling I was posting about that last week and someone advised me to eat little and often, just nice healthy food every 3 hours and it’s only just been over a week but it is helping so far, and remember a little of what you fancy does you good. I have also moved over to low fat alternaives on things like bread and soup and the occasional low fat dessert just so you don’t feel like you are depriving yourself, and remember you will have the odd day where you will fail but don’t let that stop you, we all have days when we will fail but get back up and try again and always try to remember little pickers wear bigger knickers ! I always think that before I am about to eat something really unhealthy

I think knowing the effects of saturated fats in your diet should be enough incentive. Eventually the sat fats, trans fats will cause obesity, at times diabetes.
The huge thing is with bad eating is the health related issues, you don’t have to deprive yourself all together. Just make a point of eating in a form of five times per day. Healthy Breakfast.. 3hrs later healthy snack…three hours later lunch…three hours later..Healthy snack…three hrs later…dinner.. make your last snack before 9pm at night before bed.

Try to eat protein i.e tuna, egg white , chicken at most meals with healthy carbs, veggies and fruit. Veg and fruit give you natural energy , the protein fills you and stays by your longer. making you feel less hungry so often.
Once or twice a week treat yourself to something you enjoy, something naughty, say a take out, or ice cream. Total deprivation will only lead to cheating.
You dont need a fad diet, you just need to keep your tummy satisfied during the day, when you get really hungry your body goes into starvation mode and stores fat.
Dont make the meals too big, your veggies should be a portion that covers the palm of your hand, and the meat no bigger. Practice making up a menue that incorporates
a form of protein and some carbs for each meal. The snacks can be i.e low fat yogurts, celery and peanut butter. just google healthy snacks you may get some ideas there. Just bare in mind too much unhealthy fats, will eventually have an effect on your heart, blocked arteries and such. Good luck, any questions just shout me :-)
