What makes a guy attracted to a girl?

I’ve been noticing this guy that I like & he glances at my direction a lot. Does it mean I might have a chance with him?!
The problem is that I’m too shy to talk to him…

Guys, do you stare at a girl just because she’s pretty & that you like her.. or what?
