im an artist in chicago, and i need a job, i paint

portraits and have expirience with large scale work, i paint compulsively and the market doesnt seem to be accepting right now, does anyone have any tips for getting a job in the arts, without a degree, but with lots of expirience and devotion to the craft?

Times are getting worse all over the World.Try to concentrate on Tourist Areas. Don’T give up hope .Just come up with a Painting were People say WOW i want this.Its like me writing a Hit what keeps playing in Peoples Head for years,and keep your Head above water .Good Luck…..

If you are interested in moving to a new location. move to sarasota FL. Ringling school of arts is located here and all kinds of jobs are normally available around the area. Now finding these jobs is a little harder but are there!
