I’ll tell you what I did last night.
I had a bonfire at the beach that invited about 8 people, they all couldn’t go or flaked out last minute, but James and Sarah actually went I was surprised! So it would just be us 3 and that was great, Just didn’t want to be alone. James then invited some girl we met the day before and all her friends came. When we got there everyone sat down while I did most all the work setting it up. Then they tell me I need more wood lighter fluid and did that and was just running around doing errands for everyone (i guess cause I was drove everyone, but no one wanted to go with me)
So when I arrive I see everyone getting their socializing and looks like Sarah already made a few friends out of strangers, and so did James… I little jealous but I tried myself, didn’t really work so after noticed that I just went to the waters edge and watched the waves and made a call. They called and i went back and then they were all totally drunk (except Sarah) I sat there next to her and we had some fun just making fun of James how drunk he is and we brought our guitars and started playing some stuff. James tells me “Jennifer is coming” I was just so happy after hearing that but she was bringing her BF so that was going to be MEGA awkward. Then she kept calling James and noticed I haven’t heard from her in like weeks, I introduced James and Jenn and… We used to be so very close she was like a sister to me, I guess I was replaced by James cause they have been talking a lot at when she showed up, didn’t even say anything and was just talking to James and Sarah, also I don’t think anyone knew it was even my Birthday. I felt sad and mad and needed a kick… went to the waters edge and off with the clothes (cause I let someone borrow my shorts since she lost her skirt in the water) I jumped in the sea, VERY cold but swam around in the waves until i kind of got a little far from land and its like pitch black everywhere, I like it though alone in the open water, tried to swim back and made it eventually. It was time to leave and and we packed and before I knew it Jennifer was gone, didn’t even say anything. We got in the car and my face was a stern as ever as James makes fun of me for not getting drunk and That girl flirt with Sarah. Out of that all I got was: setting up a bonfire for other strangers, wasting like $110 of stuff, realizing how bad I am at making friends (Sarah got this girls number and James got 2) I just sat alone most of the time. We went to some fancy place and sneaked in the jacuzzi, we all turned to prunes eventually and I dropped everyone on off. I have like really no money in my name and no gas, not really what I wanted out of that night but i guess its not in my power. I went to sleep all sad but when I woke up and opened this I didn’t feel as bad.

Dan… did you tell them it was your birthday? I mean I don’t expect anyone to remember mine.. which is why I make sure I remind them PLENTY of times… weeks in advance, up until the day before! Aside from the running errands/ spending $110, it sounded like a pretty interesting night. I mean you had a bonfire, people actually did show up… and you got a great story to tell. So maybe it wasn’t the picture perfect bday you planned in your mind… but who says it had to be that for you to have enjoyed it? Glad you feel better today. You’re one day closer to lots of happiness and love in your life. *big hugs*
P.S. I think we showed more than a “little” something… besides that.. I didn’t even have a Happy Birthday post in my honor… lol.

Alcho” needed like “dude we need hard liquor, and beer” At moments I forgot it was for me, like I was throwing it for Sarah and James. The think with Jenn, I just feel like I’ve been replaced. Thank you though daisy, I would make one for you if I knew when it was.

Lol it’s ok Dan.. i was back in June, but doesn’t really matter hehe. I just brought it up to make a point. In any case, maybe it’s time you start turning your bad thoughts into good ones.. As mean as this sounds, maybe instead of thinking “jenn replaced me” think, “finally, jenn moved on, now I can make room for new friends in my life, one’s that care about me.” It’s sort of like a breakup… sometimes you just have to tell yourself these things so you can move on, and honestly if she’s being weird and immature, you probably don’t/need her in your life.. it will only make things worse. Try to surround yourself with positive people dan, a positive surrounding will create positive outcomes.. Good luck and happy belated birthday! Keep celebrating!!
